indie. this would be my definition of it. There's no way to be an indie girl. You just are. If. Indie girls don't identify themselves as indie and they most definitely do not shun other people because of their tastes in music/movies/clothes/etc. Indie girls don't just listen to music because it's indie. Indie girls don't shun music because it's not rock. That's stupid. Indie music could be anything. Rock, rap, folk, anything. but whats this whole thing, were you have to dress like this, listen to indie music, the beatles, you should thrift, be skinny, wear blazers, and you *have* to read. whatnot like that. but so many people out there are doing this now, isn't it becoming a mainstream itself? and also http://www.ehow.com/how_4804322_indie-girl.html - this website is ridiculous. really, telling you what to do and what not to do to become indie. really....
